a. What have I learned so far this semester about technology and teaching?

This semester I have learned that technology can be integrated in all parts of teaching for a richer educational experience.  I have learned that different technologies are best used in different settings.  For example, some technologies are best when used as a whole-group learning experience, while other technologies are better for small group or individual work.  I have learned to look at the ALCOS and Core Curriculum standards when deciding on a digital tool or app to make sure it assists students in meeting their educational goals.  I have learned that for technology to be effective, I need to carefully review the content and make sure that it is age appropriate.  I have also learned what type of assessments are most effective in the classroom.  So far this semester, I have mastered several tools that I will use in my future classroom, and I look forward to using technology to create an engaging learning environment.

b. What questions I have about technology and teaching?
I still want to learn how to use technology to set up a detailed lesson plan for my class.  I look forward to mastering new tools that I am not familiar with, like Prezi, in my Tool Mastery projects.  Also, I want to know how often I should do group learning with technology compared to individual learning with technology.  Finally, I want to learn how to use technology to create my own videos or podcasts.
